And this is exactly how the future battery will be developed. Perhaps, the next future battery will fill what lithium ion battery hasn’t been able to fill in yet. Hope for the next future battery will rely on the use sulfur instead of ion. Lithium sulfur batteries will hopefully be great for electric vehicles. This next future battery is mainly made of sulfur which is a great industrial waste product to allow the batteries to be abundant, cheap and also environmental-friendly. Meanwhile, lithium metal is used to make the anode. The lithium sulfur has more chemical bonds which allow more stored energy. Therefore, this battery will be able to create moiré juice compared to the recent lithium ion battery.
With this upgrade, it will be definitely possible for lithium sulfur batteries to boost the electric vehicle to run for 500 miles with one single charge. However, there is also one problem regarding the lifetime of this battery that is considered short. This is because there is loss of sulfur and lithium in each style of charge-discharge. Imagine how great this future battery will be once the short lifetime has been solved. This battery will let you to use your smartphone for several days non-stop in a single charge. Perhaps, you do not even have to bring charger with you while you are away because you have replaced your old Lithium ion battery to the new lithium ion battery.
