Numerous studies involving Mars and anything related to this planet have been done by many researchers. One of the most interesting studies about Mars is whether this planet can support the human life or not. There are many studies which try to reveal the facts about this opinion which lead some researchers to learn about stone structures in Mars. Another topic which interest researchers to learn about this planet is the condition in the Mars itself. Recent Mars research is conducted to know the relation between methane, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen which becomes one of the factors why Mars is warmer. Thus, it can make the study about life beyond the earth easier.
This recent research about Mars is conducted by Harvard, John A Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). The research explained that the warm condition in Mars can make the greenhouse effect even stronger. Robin Wordsworth, Professor Assistant of SEA stated that if they can understand how the Mars operates in the beginning. Then, it could help them in finding the potency of other life in solar system. This can be beneficial to know about the life beyond the earth. For years, Mars research is conducted since this planet is assumed to be the most potential planet which supports human life. When this assumption is proved, then Mars can provide life for humans when the earth gets crowded in the future.
About four billions years ago, the sun was dimmer about 30 percent from now. Hence, its heat radiation did not affect that red planet. This condition made the planet had not showed any signs of life. However, since the condition now has changed due to stronger sun radiation which affect the Mars. Many researchers start to find signs of life in this planet and want to know more about it.
Researchers find out that methane is changed carefully to hydrogen and other types of gasses. They also encounter what happen to methane, hydrogen and carbon dioxide when they hit each other. This makes them to interact with poton. This all can be seen when the researchers learn the current condition of Mars. Due to this condition, researchers are able to calculate the greenhouse effects occur accurately for the first time. This Mars research conducted by SEAS researchers’ team also explain that methane is able to show the greenhouse effects occur in Mars for the first times.
